View (Analysis window)

The View drop-down box is where you choose the name for the View which will be created during the current Analysis. You can create any number of Views for a single database; each one can relate to different portions of the data, or have different analysis configuration choices.

For larger databases, it's highly recommended that you not try to force a single View to handle every conceivable question. The best results are obtained by splitting a database into logical sections, and letting each View handle the questions which are most relevant to its "area of expertise".

The dropdown presents the names of Views which have already been created based off the data in the current MDB. To create an interface with a new name, simply type that name into the View textbox, and proceed with the analysis. To overwrite an already-created View with the results of the analysis you're about to perform, select its name from the drop-down list.
